The fish you catch will be taken home, so it is convenient to prepare an ice or cooler box.
The smelt is a small fish, so even if you catch nearly 1 km, you can use one bag (about 1 tofu capacity).
A cooler box used to put 4 to 5 plastic bottles at athletic meet is enough.
(Even if you bring a large cooler that you use for beach fishing, it will just be bulky.)
