Shinshu Flower Festa 2019
Hana Festa is held once a year in each prefecture.
This year, it will be held for the first time in Nagano Prefecture! So, it finally started on April 25th.
Flowers blooming in the flower beds set up at Shinshu Sky Park, adjacent to Shinshu Matsumoto Airport
It's now in full bloom.
I'm happy that the main venue of this Hana Festival is free.
(Sub-venue: National Alps Azumi Park is charged for admission, but facilities that usually have admission fees, but
Therefore, there is no admission fee for Hana Festa.)
There are quite a few benches, so it's nice that you can sit without doing anything.
It may not be enough to spend the whole day mainly at Hana Festa, but it's about 1-2 hours
I think it's a recommended place to explore.
You can bring your lunch box with you, so it might be a good idea to have a picnic with your family.
(We also sell food and drinks)
Since Shinshu Matsumoto Airport is next to it, it's fun to see planes and helicopters set off and arrive.
I think your children will be happy too.

🌷🌷What's the situation?🌷🌷
The slope of the observation deck overlooking Shinshu Matsumoto Airport is a large flower bed. (Photo above)
Is the forest a sand garden filled with themes and ideas from landscapers? There are rows. (Photo below)
The exhibitions are available inside Yamabiko Dome, and various exhibitions will be held depending on the season.
The square in front of the Yamabiko Dome is a sandbox themed on the cities and towns of Nagano Prefecture? They line up.
There is a bench on the grass in front of the dome, allowing you to relax and enjoy the breeze blowing through the grass.
Of course, there is also a store where you can sell food, drinks, souvenirs, and a covered rest area.
How to go to Shinshu Hana Festa 2019
The main venue, Shinshu Sky Park, is the right border between Matsumoto City and Shiojiri City.
You might think that it's close to Matsumoto city, but in fact, it's hereKamisuwa Onsen
It's surprisingly close to that.
The distance is about 30 km. It takes about an hour to arrive. By the way, from JR Matsumoto Station, you can drive
It takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
There is a small parking lot around the venue, but it is expected that it will be crowded mainly in the morning on holidays.
It's a good idea to use the parking lot at the "Large Lawn Square" on the other side of the airport.
It is a 15-minute walk from the "Great Lawn Square" to the venue. Shuttle buses and road trains also operate.
In addition, shuttle buses also operate from JR Matsumoto Station and JR Shiojiri Station.
If you are planning to go out on a busy day on a holiday, please consider using the shuttle bus.
In particular, the stadium of Matsumoto Yamaga FC (J1 soccer team) is located near the venue, so it's home game.
I think it's extremely crowded one day.
If you are planning to go out that day, we recommend using the train and shuttle bus.
〇The day when crowds are expected
Sunday, May 12th, evening on Saturday, June 1st, evening on Saturday, June 15th
