The love path that God has passed through: "God Crossing"

A long time ago, in Suwa there were two gods, Tateminakata no Mikoto (male god) and Yasakatome no Mikoto (goddess).

The god of Kamisha sometimes goes to meet the goddess of Shimosha, straying from the villagers (residents of Suwa).
This route is the "god crossing."

Therefore, unless the entrance ceremony is held and the official recognition is "a path taken by the gods," it is not "godly crossing."
And the fact that "god crossing" has been achieved means that
This means that the male god of Kamisha was able to safely meet the goddess of Shimosha.


Incidentally, the worship ceremony to recognize this "godashi" is called Yatsugu Shrine, and is currently located in the Owada area.
It was once located on Takashima on the shore of Lake Suwa. (Takashima Castle(高島城)The whole village moved to Owada to build the castle.
Yatsurugi Shrine has recorded the passage of the gods since the Muromachi period, and has recorded the record book "Going over' is designated as a cultural property of the city.

① Near Akasunazaki Park, Shimo-Suwa Town (Red Pin in the middle of the map)... The relay point for Ichinokami crossing
